Liverpool F.C.

Founding

Liverpool F.C. is an English football club, founded on 15 March 1892 by John Houlding, the owner of Anfield, because he was banned by Everton over a dispute over the loan. The club plays its home games in Anfield. The stadium is located in the district of the same name. The stadium will be renovated in the coming years after plans for a new stadium, Stanley Park Stadium, proved unfeasible. The renewed stadium will have to accommodate 60,000 spectators. In terms of performances and prizes won, Liverpool belongs to the European and world top of football.
