Holstein Kiel

Founding

Holstein Kiel is a German football club based in Kiel. The club became national champion in 1912 after they won in the semi-finals of the defending champion Viktoria 89 Berlin and in the final of Karlsruher FV who were champions 2 years earlier. Since 1911, the club has played in the Holstein-Stadion. From 1903 to 1963 the club was active in the highest possible playing class.
