Founding

Beerschot Football Club Antwerp, formerly KFCO Beerschot-Wilrijk and before that KFCO Wilrijk, is a Belgian football club from Antwerp, which plays in the first division B. The club is affiliated with the RBFA with stud number 13 and has purple-white (home game), and white-purple (away game) as colors. In 2013, KFCO Wilrijk decided to integrate the identity of the then bankrupt Beerschot AC into the club. Since then, the home games have been played in the Olympic Stadium in Antwerp. Their biggest rival is the fellow city rival Royal Antwerp FC.
