Cercle Brugge

Founding

Cercle Brugge KSV is a Belgian football club from Bruges that plays in the highest division of Belgian football. The association is affiliated with the RBFA with stud number 12 and has green-black as colors. The home port is the Jan Breydel stadium that is shared with Club Brugge.

 

Prizes

Cercle was especially successful in the first half of the 20th century, when it won the national title three times. In 1911, the association succeeded in becoming the first Flemish team ever to become champion of Belgium. In 1927 Cercle was the first Bruges team to win both the championship and the cup in the same year. In 1985 Cercle was able to put a second cup in his trophy cabinet.
